Born in Australia to remarkable German parents, Tina has two brothers, one of whom is her twin. She pursued studies in Hotel Management and Catering in Melbourne before completing her education in Switzerland, specifically in Arosa and Luzern. Her journey led her to North Wales, where she managed a small hotel and restaurant in Criccieth. Subsequently, she ventured to East Africa, where she cooked for scientists in Sudan and Kenya. Returning to Australia, Tina settled in Tasmania and embarked on her woodworking career under the banner of Telopea Turnings. After a decade, she relocated to the United States to study Rolfing at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, specializing in Visceral, Cranial, and Aston Patterning Techniques.
